Is It Time for Content Marketers to Abandon Facebook? | Copyblogger.

The answer to a question in a headline is usually “no”, and so it is here. FB, like any social media property, can engage part of your audience if you approach it with an understanding of how they like to use it. But the center of your web presence is your own site — and your own mailing list — and walled-garden, corporate-silo social media sites are to be used for leading visitors to you. Not the other way around.
